"Bring Your Memories to Life"

I am now taking bookings for commissioned paintings. Commissions are custom pieces of art, kind of like a tatoo, where you will work with the artist to develop a idea and then I bring that idea to life. 

The great thing about commissions is that if you have a specific space in your home that you need to fill, or a certain feel/colour palette you want to match you can provide this information and I will help you come up with a concept that still fits in my painting style but also fills your requirements.

Commissions also make great gifts and are sure to be lifelong keepsakes that will hold the test of time.

Common Questions

What type of paintings can you do for me? 

Commissions, along with most of my originals at this time are done in Acrylic Artist Quality paint on Gallery Canvas. I work in an abstract impressionist style of landscape art. Please have a look at my instagram page here for examples of my work, and feel free to look through products on my website for other references and the style that I paint in. I am happy to try new things, however I cannot copy other artists styles.

Where do we start?

It begins with you reaching out to me here and expressing interest in my work and a custom piece. Some clients begin with a photo or a couple of reference photos that they love and would like me to recreate in my style. If there are specific colours, and/or feelings that you want to have worked into the piece, this should also be indicated at this time. Other clients just have a space in their home, with measured dimensions and ask me to complete a wave scene, or a mountain scene, or a forest scene for example. When we have discussed the original idea, I will then create a sketch and send back to you for approval. After that, I will begin the larger canvas. 

How much does it cost?

Prices start at $300CAD for an 8x10 painting, and go up based on the size from there. If you have a specific size in mind, please get in touch and we can work together to come up with a price that suits your budget. Custom framing is also available. 

 How does payment work? 

To begin the project I take a 50% deposit to begin the project. After our initial communication an invoice will be sen with a final deadline and any other requirements included in the contract. Once the piece is completed, a final invoice will be sent which will included any additional costs such as shipping, or framing. I accept credit cards, paypal and email money transfers for payment.
